im pretty satisfied with the series win as arky didnt lose much at all from last years CWS team and they are probably better tbh...they are a pretty veteran team and we have lots of young faces out there

our young guys are a little impatient at the plate and it is going to take some time for them to settle in i think, until then our hitting will probably be a bit inconsistent

good coaching job by Manieri to piece together a pitching staff to hold down Arkansas. Matulis will be LSU's next ace pitcher and it looks like he will be a permanent starter and im surprised it took this long to be honest. We got some good work out of the freshman staff.

PM says Ranuado is 100% and will get to pitch a couple innings next sunday, the next weekend he will pitch saturday, and the next weekend he will be in his normal Friday starting position, assuming everything goes as planned

Agree 100% Poo, our Sunday starter question mark is getting bigger and bigger with each Sunday. This past Tuesday we played our annual Governors Cup (Non-Conference game with Mississippi State), we started David Goforth, in an attempt to cure his lack of productivity. While he looked better as a starter than as a reliever, he still only has one real effective pitch and that is his fastball. SEC hitters can hit a fastball so if he cant start getting that curve in as a strike and changing speeds a little, he certainly isn't our answer to the Sunday question mark.

I would like to see us go with Rothlin again this Sunday. I know Florida wore him out, but Florida has great hitters and nobody was gonna keep them down 3 days in a row. JMHO
