With just over a month until the NCAA Tournament selection committee makes its picks for the Big Dance, SEC Sports Hub breaks down the bubble picture in the Southeastern Conference.

Three teams are well on their way to earning a high seed in the NCAA Tournament - Kentucky, Tennessee and Vanderbilt.

After those three, several other SEC teams will likely battle it out down the stretch to secure a berth in the NCAA Tournament.

Here is a bubble breakdown for the Southeastern Conference:

Tournament Locks
Team Rec. SEC RPI SOS Explanation
Kentucky 24-1 9-1 4 50 Kentucky has cruised to the nation's No. 2 ranking and is a clear-cut candidate for a one seed in the NCAA Tournament.
Vanderbilt 19-5 8-2 14 24 With 19 wins already, the Commodores should compete for a three or a four seed in the NCAA Tournament with their RPI and strength of schedule.
Tennessee 18-6 6-4 21 20 With an RPI of 21 and a strength of schedule of 20, the Volunteers should lock up a berth with another win or two in conference play.
On the Bubble
Team Rec. SEC RPI SOS Explanation
Miss. State 18-7 6-4 57 116 The Bulldogs are playing well right now, but lack many big wins to impress the committee. They will need to close strong and pick up a big win or two to receive an at-large bid.
Florida 17-8 6-4 61 59 Florida notched some big wins at the beginning of the year, but has faltered in the past week or two. They will need to finish at least .500 in SEC play to be considered for a bid.
Ole Miss 17-7 5-5 49 61 Aside from their win over Kansas State, Ole Miss has no big wins. They need to finish strong in conference play and secure a couple of big wins along the way to earn a bid to the Big Dance.
Bubble Bursting
Team Rec. SEC RPI SOS Explanation
South Carolina 14-10 5-5 71 36 The Gamecocks have a couple of nice wins, including an upset of Kentucky. Their RPI and strength of schedule are keeping them in the conversation, but they need to put together a winning streak to have a chance at a bid.
Arkansas 13-12 6-4 114 40 The Razorbacks have won five of their last six SEC games to take the lead in the SEC West. After a poor non-conference performance, Arkansas will have to continue that type of streak to even merit consideration.
