With just under three weeks left until the NCAA Tournament selection committee makes its picks for the Big Dance, SEC Sports Hub breaks down the bubble picture in the Southeastern Conference.

Three teams are well on their way to earning a high seed in the NCAA Tournament - Kentucky, Tennessee and Vanderbilt.

After those three, several other SEC teams will likely battle it out down the stretch to secure a berth in the NCAA Tournament.

Here is a bubble breakdown for the Southeastern Conference:

SEC Basketball Bubble Watch - Feb. 22, 2010
Tournament Locks
Team Rec. SEC RPI SOS Explanation
Kentucky 26-1 11-1 3 38 After knocking off Vanderbilt, the Wildcats are virtually a lock to win the SEC and secure a one seed in the NCAA Tournament.
Vanderbilt 20-6 9-3 13 15 With 20 wins, the Commodores should compete for a three or a four seed in the NCAA Tournament with their RPI and strength of schedule.
Tennessee 20-6 8-4 15 23 With such a high RPI and strength of schedule, the Volunteers probably locked up a spot last week with two more wins.
On the Bubble
Team Rec. SEC RPI SOS Explanation
Florida 19-8 8-4 52 57 The Gators need two more wins to lock up a bid, but they face arguably the toughest four-game stretch in the nation against Tennessee, @Georgia, Vanderbilt and @Kentucky.
Miss. State 19-8 7-5 65 115 The Bulldogs fell short of an upset of Kentucky that would have likely earned them a bid. They need a big win and the only potential one left on the schedule is Tennessee.
Bubble Bursting
Team Rec. SEC RPI SOS Explanation
Ole Miss 17-9 5-7 63 54 Aside from their win over Kansas State, Ole Miss has no big wins and blew chances last week to get them against Vanderbilt and Florida. No big games remain on the schedule, so Ole Miss would likely have to win out and win some games in the SEC Tournament to earn a bid.
Off the Bubble
Team Rec. SEC RPI SOS Explanation
South Carolina 14-12 5-7 81 26 The Gamecocks were on the wrong end of the bubble before last week and two losses have virtually eliminated them from the NCAA Tournament, barring an SEC Tournament Championship.
Arkansas 14-13 7-5 126 51 The Razorbacks have lost some momentum and have now lost two of their last three. They will have to win the SEC Tournament Championship to earn a bid to the Big Dance.
