The Chick-Fil-A College Kickoff is set to announce their selection for the 2010 season opener between the SEC's LSU Tigers and the ACC's North Carolina Tar Heels.

Generally, the Chick-Fil-A College Kickoff attempts to pair up the two conferences in a prime-time matchup in Atlanta's Georgia Dome.

The Alabama Crimson Tide and the Virginia Tech Hokies kicked off the inaugural game during the 2008 season and Alabama will meet the Virginia Tech Hokies in this year's edition.

Chick-Fil-A has also already announced that the Tennessee Volunteers and the NC State Wolfpack will meet in the 2012 edition.

While the LSU vs. UNC contest has yet to be finalized, it is in the final stages of negotiation. If for some reason, an agreement cannot be reached, UNC would likely face Georgia or Ole Miss instead.
