(Scout.com Photo) The Alabama Crimson tide football team landed their fourth verbal commitment for the 2010 recruiting class when linebacker Shannon Brown announced his decision to play for coach Nick Saban.
Saban and Alabama hosted their annual junior day in Tuscaloosa on Saturday, where Brown told reporters that he had committed to the Crimson Tide.
From Cook High School in Georgia, Brown checks in at 6-foot-2, 240 pounds.
He is being recruited to play middle linebacker in college, but also plays as a running back at Cook.
According to the Scout recruiting service, Brown is rated as a three-star prospect. He has not yet been evaluated by the Rivals recruiting service. |
