Georgia RB Storm Johnson committed to the LSU Tigers football team on Tuesday afternoon. (Rivals.com Photo) The LSU Tigers football team added another big piece to their 2010 recruiting class on Monday, as Georgia running back Storm Johnson committed to the Tigers. Johnson is a talented, powerful runner from Buford High School in Georgia. He is currently rated as a four star prospect and the 14th best running back in the nation by the Rivals recruiting service.
At 6'1, 217 lbs. Johnson is a surprisingly quick north and south runner with above average elusiveness for his size. He has reportedly been clocked as low as 4.47 seconds in the 40 yard dash. Johnson has a great burst at the line of scrimmage and does a terrific job finding the hole and keeping his pads low as he explodes through between his blockers. He is an excellent addition to an already promising 2010 recruiting class for the Tigers. He is the 16th member of that 2010 recruiting class and is the eighth prospect with a ranking of at least four stars on Rivals. |
