OL David Andrews verbally committed to the Georgia Bulldogs football team for the 2011 recruiting class on Monday morning. (Scout.com Photo) The Georgia Bulldogs football team received its fourth verbal commitment of the 2011 recruiting class on Monday, when offensive lineman David Andrews verbally committed.
From Wesleyan High School in Norcross, Ga., Andrews checks in at 6-foot-2, 275 pounds.
He is rated as a three-star prospect at center by the Scout recruiting service. He has not yet been evaluated by the Rivals recruiting service.
According to Scout, he gets off the ball well, but needs to add more bulk to play effectively at the college level.
Andrews also has great footwork and excels as a leader, making him an ideal candidate to play center.
He is a lifelong Georgia fan and was thrilled when offensive line coach Stacey Searels called and offered him a scholarship, according to the AJC. |
