The Kentucky Wildcats football team continues to put together one of its best recruiting classes in school history, adding two more highly-touted prospects on Sunday afternoon.
OL Kenarious Gates and DE Brandon Dunn both verbally committed to the Wildcats for the 2010 class, bringing Kentucky's number of verbal commitments to 24, just four shy of the SEC signing limit.
Gates is a 3-star prospect at offensive tackle, according to the Rivals recruiting service. At 6-foot-5, 285-pounds, Gates has the frame to grow into an athletic SEC offensive tackle.
Dunn is currently unevaluated by Rivals, but is expected to grade out as a 3-star prospect. At 6-foot-3, 265-pounds, Dunn currently projects as a defensive end, but could end up as a hybrid defensive lineman depending upon how much weight he adds in college.
The Kentucky Wildcats now have 15 players committed with at least a 3-star ranking on Rivals. |
