The Vanderbilt Commodores football team landed a huge prospect on Monday night, when junior college quarterback Jordan Rodgers faxed his letter of intent to the Commodores.
Rodgers is the younger brother of current NFL quarterback Aaron Rodgers, the starting quarterback for the Green Bay Packers.
Listed as a 3-star prospect by the Rivals recruiting service, Rodgers checks in at 6-foot-2, 210-pounds and has good mobility for a quarterback.

At Butte Community College in California, Rodgers threw for 2,219 yards and 18 touchdowns, while throwing only seven interceptions. He also finished the year with 293 yards rushing.
With his commitment, the Vanderbilt Commodores now have 21 players verbally committed or signed for the 2010 football recruiting class. 19 of those prospects rank as 3-star prospects according to Rivals, making this one of the best recruiting classes in school history. |
