The Florida Gators football team started 2010 on a great note, winning their third BCS game under head coach Urban Meyer with a blowout of Cincinnati and then securing verbal commitments from 4-star WR Chris Dunkley and 4-star DE Dominique Easley at the Under Armour All-American game on Saturday.

Dunkley has long been considered a heavy lean to commit to the Florida Gators, but Easley's commitment to Meyer and the Gators came as a surprise to most in the recruiting world.

Dunkley is rated as a 4-star prospect by the Rivals recruiting service. He ranks as the 8th wide receiver in the nation, as well as ranking as the 10th player in the state of Florida and the 63rd player nationally.

At 5-foot-10, 165-pounds, Dunkley is an explosive playmaker that could see the field as a freshman for Florida. He has clocked as low as 4.4 seconds in the 40-yard dash.

Easley rates as a 4-star prospect on Rivals. He ranks as the 11th defensive end nationally, as well as ranking as the top player in the state of New York. He ranks 1076th nationally.

At 6-foot-3, 260-pounds, Easley is a hybrid player that could move to the interior of the line for the Florida Gators in college.

With their commitments, Chris Dunkley and Dominique Easley become the 20th and 21st players committed to the Florida Gators for the 2010 recruiting cycle. Florida currently has 15 players committed with at least a 4-star ranking on Rivals.
